It's going to be a hot one, hotter than I'd like, but I suppose I'll put up with it . I got the bird feeder set up on the balcony, and filled. I also put the seed on the railing as I usually do, and hopefully the birds will come to get that and not be scared off by the feeder. I found a small snakeskin on the balcony when I was moving things around...that's the 3rd snake I know has been up there since I moved in...gulp. I'm always careful about letting the cats out, they are always attended. I'm finding tiny bird feathers on the balcony, so hopefully that means the birdies that are eating there bring their babies back later for a drink of water. Hope everyone has a lovely day!
Good morning everyone. I have been in LA a few days visiting my daughter. I think we are going home tomorrow. My husband gets homesick as he's not a city boy. Driving around yesterday really made me appreciate how well plants and trees grow in southern California. The yards are beautiful with roses and other colorful flowers and there are lemons and oranges in people's yards.
@Linda Binning, a few months ago I saw someone's tree by my mailbox so heavy with lemons that it drooped over their fence. Are you colder in the winter than Fresno?

Goooood morning seniors. We have 52 overcast degrees as of 6am. Rain likely. My bad knee is throbbing and kept me awake most of the night, so I'll believe the weather forecaster when she tells me about the rain. Turned in my grub list too late yesterday. They had already been picked up. Maybe if I call them this morning, I can phone it in. So, Cruz won Wisconsin. Green bay is my favorite football team. I might have to change that (kidding). I don't like Cruz. Well, guess I'll go nap until I can call the store. Be careful out there. The world is filling up with zombies.
Good morning. Haven't been very active here lately but not because I'm not sharing my fabulousness I'm attending to earthly matters, vs cyberspace, before I leave next week to visit my sister in AZ. I'll leave the 12th for a week. I'm a little concerned about the flight and layover because I'm taking my mother. She's doing great for 91 but she's slowing down…tires more quickly. It will be her last chance to see the desert I think. It will be fun. My sister has a beautiful home in the hills with a panoramic view of the Tucson night lights, a pool, and beautiful desert landscaping. Our family there is all so happy and loving and just fun to be with. I can't take my paints/brushes/canvas on the plane so I've purchased a set of quality oil pastels and paper pad in various southwestern colors for sketching in the desert. I'll probably cook for everyone which I love to do…and they love it @Ike Willis , there is an alternative to knee replacement surgery that is less invasive. You might want to check it out. Good morning, fridge still leaking back still sore as are other body parts I haven't used so much lately , did a lot of squatting yesterday. Didn't sleep well even though I conked myself out pretty well. After slow leak stops I'm going to have to push fridge back into its place. Not a good day.

Hope you follow through. My day off, I have so much to do but not much motivation or energy. Groceries for sure and a 3:30 appointment for doggie at the groomer. Good Morning, Y'all. It sounds as if everyone's got a lot on their plates. I had two weird dreams in succession, I'll post about them over in the dream thread. It's overcast, I think it's going to rain today, but hopefully nothing too severe. As usual, the cable was out when I was lying awake in the middle of the night, unable to sleep. I almost went downstairs for the Roku, but finally got the On Demand working, since my DVR wasn't accessing my recorded shows. It's a busy morning here, someone must be having work done, lots of industrial trucks rumbling through the neighborhood, but currently drowned out by a cardinal . I think it's going to be a nap day again today. Hope y'all have a nice one!

I'm just working on my fridge, still leaking. Cleaning the top thats under cabinets, tomorrow my arms will be sore. It's not a smooth surface which makes it harder. Have to go out and but a ton of those magic erasers.
