Flavored coffees always upset my stomach, as though they have strong oils in them.

Ha! I’m the same way. I really like coffee but I can’t stand it in anything else, candy, ice cream, whatever. I guess I’m kind of weird because I love coffee with dark chocolate but I do not like coffee flavored chocolate.

I haven't noticed that, but I drink so little of them that I might not notice. My wife, who has GI issues, doesn't seem to have trouble with the common stuff like hazelnut. She sometimes drinks that stuff during the holidays.

The Teeccino stuff Yvonne and I like so much are flavored, but they are chicory/barley/carob based. It's different than flavoring coffee, which should not be adulterated. The only Teeccino flavors I cannot tolerate are the orange and peach ones I tried. But the chocolate, vanilla, caramel, french roast, peppermint, amaretto, etc are all very good. I usually add cacoa powder and coconut oil to them.

I have had chicory coffee in New Orleans, and I didn't mind that, and we have made our own dandelion coffee...which wasn't worth the trouble.

I imagine dandelion wine is a different story ;)

I love alternating between different roasts and beans from different varieties of plants, but I'm not interested in anything like raspberry-chocolate-habanero coffee. I do use chicory, probably more often than not, but particularly in the dark roasts, but just a pinch or two of it.

Dandelion wine in the manner I have had it, tastes a lot like sherry. It is purported to be one of the better non-grape wines, but is so labor intensive that it cannot be commercially produced.

So excited!! I got my Ebay vintage Sunbeam coffeemaker a couple of days ago and gave it a good soak/cleaning. It's in very good condition so I decided to test it today. I used Community Coffee French Roast and brewed it on the "strong" setting. I figured I'd have to make a few pots to get the water/coffee ratio correct, but the first try is excellent!! Very smooth and hardly any bottom-of-the-cup residue. Now I need to order fresh coffee.

If I needed a new coffeemaker, this would be a good choice. It's available on eBay. Yeah, I almost bought it. I might still do that, but I don't think so. It would look good in your kitchen, @Beth Gallagher.

Got my weekly grocery delivery today. Added this to my order and I'll be trying it tomorrow in my new old percolator.

Call me a Pacific Northwest coffee snob if you want, but I am proud of my coffee set up. I drink mine black. The induction kettle is great and convenient. An occasional white vinegar cleaning required due to water sediment. I also have hot water after a couple or three cups of coffee for my follow up hot chocolate.

Cuisinart cordless tea kettle and Folgers instant.

You might want to try a bag of this. We just finished one, very nice. It’s not just an espresso coffee, just the way they named it. It’s also not a flavored coffee, the “sweet, honey, apricot” are just descriptions of hints of flavors in the bean. You can get whole bean or choose your grind.

Good heavens, the Coffee thread was on page 2. Time to bump 'er up.

First I was going to report that when our power was out last week, I dragged out my Ebay drip pot and made some really tasty coffee. I have finally gotten the coffee/water ratio to an acceptable level.

In other news, I was scrolling on Amazon and saw that Keurig now has a "K-Cafe" machine that has a milk frother. Hmmmmmmm. Do I need frothed milk?? (No, no, @Hedi Mitchell !!! :D) I think I see a way to use some credit card rewards in the near future.
