Now that Biden lifted sanctions from Venezuela in order to import more oil from there, Maduro is having a referendum to invade Guiana, a neighboring small nation that also has oil. Perhaps he is spreading "democracy" as we did in Iraq and Afghanistan. Anyway, the administration is now considering reinstituting sanctions as we are stretched so thin around the world trying to police everywhere. Biden need the oil and Maduro knows it, so he has a free hand to expand his borders should he so choose. The Saudis are cutting oil production and I think I heard that the UAE is now switching away from the dollar for oil transactions, which will make oil more expensive for the U.S. Our hero!
