Past few days have been in the 60s, with overnight lows in the high 40s/low 50s, so the wood stove had been getting a rest. It's been sprinkling all day, gonna rain for the next 2 days, then it's gonna get cold (nighttime lows in the 20s) again.
Foggy down almost all the hills around and of course, raining... Thankfully, not too cold, so a good compensation as it's laundry day, it means the dryer has to be used...
Tada! First full day without the heating on at all. Nice! Had a wee bit of rain otherwise nice breezy day. Cheers!
It's coming!!! All next week highs get to be well above freezing! And today it's so sunny it's annoying.
The first NIGHT above freezing! It was above freezing all night last night. It only got down to 34 F. The driveway is a mess and our dirt road is a sheet of ice. Water dripping off all the buildings. I gotta go see if I can do something about the drive.
I wonder if hitting pot holes day after day will shake something loose on my car that it needs. It is too wet to go for limestone screenings. It was 50! today and will be tomorrow. Boy I love global warming. But I don't feel spring is really here. Just mud season is a bit early.
