We are re-watching the TV show Northern Exposure again. We watched it when it first aired approx. 35 years ago. I find it rather a silly show now but we still get a few laughs out of it. The show’s characters are rather quirky people that live in Cicely, AK, and it seems that they all drive banged up rusted trucks with bad mufflers, except the rich dude who drives a catty.:D:D

I binge the Canadian "Corner Gas" and its animated sequel over and over. I like the characters and wacky stories. It's a comfort show for me. Freevee.

I also like that Pluto TV carries both RiffTrax and MST3K.

I just finished binge watching “Person of Interest” on Prime.
I had started to watch it 3-4 years ago but stopped and then picked it back up about 2 months ago.

Basically, it is about a machine, an AI as it were (and its creator) which spied on everyone in the entire world.
It was initially built to give a heads-up regarding anyone that was a threat to national security after 9/11 but the creator had a guilty conscience concerning those who were in trouble but the machine regarded as “irrelevant” and chose to use it for spotting potential killers and those who were to be killed.
When the machine pointed out an irrelevant, the crippled up creator along with a retired and screwed up CIA agent went about stopping crimes that would end up in the death of someone.

The thing that kept me watching it other than the “shoot-em-up bang bang” and other hero type violent action is that I can see how every thing the machine did was a heavy duty possibility.
No matter where you look, inside a building, on the streets or in most homes, there’s a camera and behind the camera there is something watching.
A massive computer that takes note of everything we do and ascertains whether or not someone is going to commit a crime and whom will be the victim.

I didn’t notice any nudity and only a couple of light weight curses. Yup, there is some cigarette smoking going on and it wasn’t until around the 4th season that a female nerd kissed a female sociopath.

We watched when it was initially broadcast on network TV. That was the first I'd seen of Taraji P. Henson and I have loved her since then.

I've been watching the "Gotham" series on Tubi and the "Lost In Space" reboot series on Netflix.

"Gotham" is less caped spandex and more extreme crime drama and civic corruption... and the origins of Batman as young Bruce Wayne grows up after the murder of his parents.

I have been watching X-Files and am now on Season 11. What the heck? I know I watched much of the series when it was originally running, but Season 11 came out during Trump's Presidency (2018) long after the rest of the show ended.

I don't know yet, if we'll be binge watching... However, just found one on Netflix called

    BRIDGERTON

It looks promising and daughter has bookmarked the book series on Amazon. Yesterday, it wasn't available in the next village's bookstores...

I thorougly enjoyed the series. Even though some of it was a little far fetched, the similarities between what the computers / machines did in a fictional series versus the more recent suspicions of what the government is probably really doing with AI is startling.

Thats for sure, guess thats what made the series so interesting. We really enjoyed the show, we watched lots of episodes of Royal Pains and just 3 episodes of Schitts Creek before it got agendadized.

Love that Rex he's such a good police dog.

Used to visit the RCMP barracks aeons ago. Horseback riding, mucking the stables and visiting the dogs in training on Saturdays, fond memories...
