So I was at this bar last night and the waitress screamed "Does anyone know CPR?!?!?!" I said "Hell, I know the entire alphabet." Everyone laughed. Well, everyone except this one guy...
A guy was walking through the Sahara desert, desperate for water, when he saw something far off in the distance. Hoping to find water, he walked towards the image, only to find a little old man sitting at a card table with a bunch of neckties laid out on it. The guy asked, "Please, I'm dying of thirst, can I have some water?" The old man replied, "I don't have any water, but why don't you buy a tie? Here's one that goes nicely with your shirt." The guy shouted, "I don't want a tie, you idiot! I need water!" "OK, don't buy a tie” But to show you what a nice guy I am, I'll tell you that over that dune there, about five miles down, there is a nice restaurant my brother runs Go over that way, they'll give you all the water you want." The guy thanked him and walked away towards the dune and eventually disappeared. Three hours later the guy came crawling back to where the old man was sitting behind his card table. The old man said, "I told you, about five miles over that dune Couldn't you find it?" The guy rasped, "I found its but They wouldn't let me in without a tie."
I have no idea which image you don’t see, @Jenna Parnellson ; but if you just see a tiny little box instead, then the person just pasted something on the forum, and it disappears . In order for an image to stay, a person has to put it on their computer and then upload it here, and then it is always there, but when people just copy an image and paste it, then it goes away.
Which one are you referring to, Jenna? I usually see blank posts for Shirley's jokes for some reason.
I see every [ IMG ] once in a while. -Sometimes it's a broken link to a pic on a website. -Sometimes it's an image type my browser doesn't like. -Sometimes poop happens. I mentioned elsewhere that the most permanent way to keep a pic in a post it to Save it to your hard drive, then use the Upload a File function. Doing so puts the pic on the forum server where it's not going to get deleted or moved. I do not always take my own advice.
