LOL, I find that what I watch doesn't match what most enjoy. I haven't really enjoyed many Oscar-worthy films recently.

I'm a romantic at heart, so daughter and I are fans of Hallmark channel films but they have to end with the wedding otherwise to us, it's missing the conclusions ehehe.

I love things like Gerard Butler, Tom Cruise, Harrison Ford and that Tatum guy who's name escapes me just now. So, Mission Impossible, Knight and Day (Cameron Diaz), Dracula 2000, Olympus Has Fallen, Whitehouse Down. Most vampire films from 60s till favourite of all time, Dracula 79 with Frank Langella. Of course, holiday related films, Tim Allen Santa Clause and recently two Santa films with Kurt Russell. As you can see, a hodge podge...

I used to belong to a film website/forum type but again my taste was so diversed, I just gave up.

Most of the films you mentioned I've seen and enjoyed. I Get roped into watching Hallmark, My wife loves that channel. The stories to me seem repetitive, just the actors and location changes. I prefer Hallmark mysteries. I just finished watching the second season of "Reacher", It was good, but I enjoyed the first season more, maybe because it was new to me. I enjoy action films, Spy, and Superman.
I do enjoy some romance films one I watch many years ago, I believe it was called "The Promise" was one of my favorites. I can also enjoy a movies with a weak script if the acting is exceptional.
Bottom line is I enjoy Movies, TV shows, Streaming, Documentaries.

    Caitlin, welcome to the forum!
That was an interesting event. Archery? I bought a bow and arrow and after a few arm whelps later I gave it up, Jake was ok at it.

Thanks @Marie Mallery Yes, it's difficult to begin with but I had the luck of beginning at a young age. The highest ratio of pulled weight was 45lbs in a decade between 30-40 years.

Nowadays, I had to rebuild the muscles required, but thankfully I'm now pulling 35lbs. Daughter graduated to 35-40lbs about 10 years ago. Due to her education in Animation, she's loved Disney since she was a toddler. So, her wish for her 30th birthday was a bow similar to Merida in Brave.

She got her wish and happy to be a tomboy like her Mum

Congrats to the daughter, seems like a nice hobby plus may come in handy in other ways someday.
I was too old to take up a task like archery.

Nah, never too old, you're still a Spring chicken. Husband began at 60 and I had to lower his bow weight as he would put them halfway through the target

In the end had to change it to a kid's one with max 25lbs pull.

If you've your bow still, give it a go again. My clubs has over 25 oldies, we call ourselves the Silver Arrows!
