Carter was a good man at heart. Biden, however, has never been a good man, at least as far back as I can trace him. He has always been a somewhat corrupt, unintelligent compulsive liar.
Isn't that the old impeachment? The Senate wouldn't even vote on it. The Senate ignored it, and didn't even hear arguments. Odd that the most corrupt President in American history will get away with it due to a corrupt Senate.

Maybe there is another try. It would hurt the Republicans more than help them if they impeach Biden at this point though, as it would clear the way for the Dems to select another candidate for November. The first attempt was never tried, so, while this is the second impeachment, it would be the first trial if it goes through. I wonder if they will impeach him after he leaves office like they did Trump?
I also think that service in the military helps as well where one learns discipline and some leadership skills, which is something Biden completely lacks.
Steve Forbes just published a piece that contends Biden will drop out of the Presidential race soon, as the Debate is coming up in less than 3 weeks and teleprompters will not be allowed. White House aides are hoping Trump will overplay things and embarrass himself, but almost everyone realizes Biden cannot stand toe-to-toe against Trump. Hunter's trial may damage Joe more than Trump's sham convictions in New York since real criminality is involved with the Biden case. Forbes contends that the Dems will choose someone unknown, much to the chagrin of California's Newsome, since they chose Biden over Sanders who was leading in the polls at the time of the nomination in 2020. Forbes suggests one of the virtually unknown Democrat governors will be chosen since no one knows anything about them outside their respective states, and it would cash in on the "anyone but Trump" stupidity that has been promoted by the American media.
I'm not a fan of Biden's politics, However putting politics aside, The few clips I've seen of him I'm not a doctor, But it seems there's enough mentally wrong with him that he shouldn't be President. I could totally understand the democratic party Wanting to replace him. Politically I would prefer him to run against Trump. I believe Trump or any other Candidate would win in the landslide.
The Democrats have been making efforts to shorten election cycles because they know when swing voters are given any amount of time to vet their candidates, the swing voters reject them. So they'll swap someone out for Joe as close to the election as they possibly can so there's minimal time to evaluate the replacement.
NATO is taunting Russia and Israel is teasing Iran. Israel apparently plans to invade Lebanon next month to stop missile attacks based there, but Iran is threatening to attack Israel if that happens. The Houthis hit two more merchant ships a few days ago, but no casualties were reported and the ships did not sink. It looks to me as if they are trying to get a war going close to the U.S. elections, but that is just me. I think thy want a means to cancel the November election or mess with it in some way. Paranoia, huh?
I don’t think it’s paranoia when, after looking at all the possibilities, it looks like everyone is out to get ya. To piggy back on your post Don, even the President of the U.S. is out to get us. After saying that he wasn’t going to pardon Hunter, in another speech he said that we do not need rifles, we (meaning the public) need F-14’s. This makes the third time he threatened 2nd Amendment holders who recognize the meaning behind that Amendment with F-14 strikes. In other words, Joe said my weapons are bigger than yours and I’ll use them against American citizens.
