I wonder how the public would view it if Trump walked on the stage, made his case from the git-go and walked off ? I mean, Trump already said that he’s going to have to debate 3 people, not one, so why not avoid the hostilities from the moderators and a hopped up Joe Biden and say “bu-bye” ? Biden sympathizers would say that Trump beat up a fragile old man if he did debate and the never Trumpers would still be never Trumpers no matter if Donald does beat Joe. To me, the whole debate is only a tragic show and tell that will solve nothing. D. Trump has learned how to be a showman so why not strike a little awe into the whole affair by walking aff and stick CNN with 85 minutes of dead air?
Exactly. The American people have already experienced both candidates as president. Not much else to say so why bother. Because he has an ego bigger than the solar system and can't miss the chance for a free televised national audience, even with his microphone muted.
True, but if he walked off, would he not be the subject of conversation on every network and every pod cast? I’m not saying that he should or even would consider such a thing but if he did, I think it would be a “Huge” slam against Biden and funnier than the Pope gettin’ caught in a cat house.
Not really. I was planning on watching The Beverly Hillbillies and Green Acres repeats on MeTV. They make for better comedy.
If I can find where to watch it, I'm going to watch so that I can see for myself what is said, the nuances, and the body language and form my own opinion. The snippets shown by media will all be influenced by whether they are pro-Trump or pro-Biden. I predict that the first one will be the most watched program in ages, maybe in history. The pro-Trump viewers will be watching to see if Biden even manages to stand up for 90 minutes, much less manage to answer the questions clearly. The pro-Biden viewers will be watching hoping tRump will make a complete and utter fool of himself.
