I'm surprised with all the conspiracy theorists here no one has come up with the theory that Biden dropping out of the race has been planned much earlier, about the time the primaries began and the polls were not looking good. It would be easy to explain, even using logic. 1. Biden should not drop out of the race before the convention because of the committed delegates. I think the scenario is they vote Biden on the first ballot, then they are free to vote whoever. Many voters in the primary would scream if delegates changed to a new person on the first ballot without their input. 2. Similarly you simply could not bypass Kamala Harris. The party would be split and fighting. Besides making a good president, Harris is not afraid to call Trump out on his lies. Running against a woman would drive him nuts. 3. Biden wins the first ballot. Drops out and endorses Harris. They do a second round and elect Harris. Harris chooses a V.P. 4. If this has been planned, there's nothing else Biden can say until the convention except maintain adamantly that he is staying in the race. [Notice he always says he's staying in the race. How's that for my first conspiracy theory?

I would be interested in knowing where or what you were reading. Because it seems to me because of the Constitutional requirement of citizenship for the President, a Vice-President has to be a natural born citizen as well because that person could become President if something happened to the President. The 14th Amendment also has to taken into account as well as Immigration law which define what a natural born citizen is.

Yes his remarks are sad, and laughable at times , but I feel a bit of pity for him. To go public coming across as an idiot . We on the other hand don't have to flaunt our frailties to others publicly.

I think they are scared now that the world knows how weak the U.S. is. So many countries relied on us to cover their butts militarily so they could have socialized medicine, many free social programs, and a competitive trade advantage over the U.S. that they are afraid all that will go away when China takes over the world.
