Good morning to all-
Ms. Stetler- I do not use anything on YouTube as a source of reliable information. Anyone can post almost anything on YouTube- there is no quality control- no reality control. I am very picky about sources of information for either my personal use or my professional writing use.
YouTube and any other online source is only as good as the people who post, and quite often, people who post on YouTube are either selling something or trying to confuse or mislead others.

But I do appreciate your concern for my information sources- thank you.

Main stream media has been so horribly corrupted over the years (as has the government) Whether it is Fox or CNBC. I have moved on from those sources because I have seen the originals. Walter Cronkite is gone.

 

Ol' Walter wasn't so honest either. We just didn't know how crooked he was as the media were tightly controlled. They have lost some of that control, but they still have Mr. Marsh and others like him under control.

 

I have done a LOT of research in the natural health field and I watch youtubes to see more info. Before I use information, I do my own research. ie, people on yt were saying you should get off statins that your doctor my have prescribed. What a lot of commentators left out was that you should NOT do this without changing your diet correctly. I know quite a bit about food as medicine. Sooooooo... I know not to believe everything I see on the channels until I research or it agrees with what I know. I find that liberals REFUSE to even LOOK a information from different sources that might make them think and research what is out there if it is not from their normal sources.
But those who actually use their brains are not afraid. They may also say 'What BS' but they think about it.
I know that the Biden/Harris administration brought in the illegals, not for humanitarian reasons. But to use them as pawns. States are finding them on the voter rolls right now in PA and GA among other places. Why would YOU say they were brought in, suddenly, in the tens of millions? I would like to know. And with the violent agents already in sanctuary cities all over the country, If Trump wins, how will he have to deal with them? Harris will just keep buying them off for a while. And while Trump may bring in the National Guard or legalize the militia, Harris will try to mandate a forced buy back program from law abiding citizens.
Gas here TODAY is under $3 a gallon--$2.95, as it was when Trump was president. How is that possible after Biden emptied the US oil reserves to push ev's? Government handouts. And look at the increases in SS after people were complaining about all the money going to illegals. That is not going to fix the monetary crisis. It is just heating up the printing presses after flushing money into more endless war.
The elites handling Harris will try to buy us off for a while to get her elected. Just as she will say anything needed. Things will change for the worse after the election even if Harris loses with a lame duck Congress, and Just as George Bush's famous line " Read my lips! No new taxes!" She then wants to tax capital gains 25% pre sale? People will have to sell homes to make the taxes and Blackrock will clean up. Peope will fear investing which will collapse almost everything. The Blackrock and other players can buy us up for pennies on the dollar. Blackrock is running ads about what good they are doing for the country on tv right now. The media has brainwashed both sides?

Mr. Alaska- For your information, I do not depend totally on the "Main Stream Media" as you seem to think. Of course, you are coming from a position of total ignorance as far as my means of research and my sources of research.
And whatever "manipulation" you feel the media has going on, the worst of the lot is FOXNEWS, which is so far up tRump's backside that it can't see the sun shine.

And as someone who has indeed actually worked in the field of journalism on many levels and in many fields, I can tell you skeptics of the "media" that it is damned hard to control and manipulate what professional writers and reporters do. Political hacks and paid unofficial supporters of any particular political view- sure, they exist- but real journalism is alive and well.

And before you make unfounded and inaccurate statements reflecting on me, I'd appreciate it if you had some idea of what is really real- not just what you might concoct in your mind for some reason or other.

There are only three major things a news anchor has to have:
A bachelors degree in journalism
Be able to communicate
Have “hands on” experience.
And as a forth, read what the boss tells ya to read.
That’s it. No mas.

Pretty much, even though their duties are fairly extensive, it doesn’t take a questioning brain to become a news person for most of the left wing MSM. It just takes someone who can communicate well and is more than willing to trade their integrity and soul for a payday.
One can simply surf the “channels” over a half dozen networks and find the exact same sentences and buzz words being repeated over and over which should tell even the slowest person on the planet that what they see and hear is GOVERNED by a single entity.

A half dozen people saying the same thing doesn’t necessarily mean that it is true because in fact, the half dozen are only repeating what a single entity, be it the government or whomever is telling them to say.

And of course, it would be hard for some people-like the previous poster, for example- to understand that if half a dozen people are saying the same thing, then just maybe that thing they are saying is in fact true.

And again, real journalism is indeed quite well and alive. Just because a professional reporter or even anchor person says something you don't agree with, that doesn't make the person wrong. There's at least a 50/50 chance that YOU are wrong.

And news anchors read what the staff- and that's usually a lot of people with a wide range of opinions and beliefs- have researched and written and then have approved.

And if you feel that "mainstream news" not repeating and supporting the constant stream of idiocy which comes from the former occupant and his supporters means that the "mainstream media" is corrupt and wrong, then go ahead with that. Believe what you want. But just be aware that just because you don't like something, that doesn't make it wrong.

Ed, those of us who still read what you post know that the mainstream media is the principle source of what you write, as you parrot what they say sometime word-for-word. Bragging about having been a part of the deep state media machine is a bit like Himmler saying, "I don't JUST listen to what Hitler says, but I did work for him." Most of us who follow politics have multiple sources of information, some of which are now being silenced by the very regime you support. YouTube, Rumble, X, Telegram, and others all have both valid and invalid information on them, but we have a brain to sort through the data and decide what is good and what is bad. Fox News, just like the other mainstream media outlets are in the bucket for the government, which, if you actually watched/listened to the NEWS part of Fox you would realize by now. Fox does, however, sometimes deliver both sides of an argument which MSNBC does not. Fox also has commentators who are mostly on the Right, so you may not realize they are relating opinion, not news. In the days of Rush Limbaugh, many who ranted against him had never listened to an entire program...not one. Trump is a bit like Limbaugh in that he has an immature side and calls people names in a way to hold up what they stand for to ridicule, but that is a defense mechanism against the continuous, often unjustified, criticism of which both Limbaugh and Trump were/are the targets.

What you claim contradicts what you write in your posts.

Oh, and you by the way, have an immature side as well in the way you spell the name of the person you hold up to ridicule. You have something in common with Trump and Limbaugh

 

Or perhaps a deep seated or even a latent infatuation with rumps. (as the FOX commentator, Guttfeld, might observe.) butt envy?

The left wing media was already mad at Trump because he financed his own campaign sans donations up till he won the primaries prior to the 2016 election. Wealth envy perhaps?
Then the same media hammered away at Melania perhaps because she is indeed a beautiful woman. Certainly more beautiful than Hillary or Obama’s mate. Beauty envy?

All that said, not one commentator who works for any major network has EVER concentrated on Trump’s butt as much as a couple of our members do.

 

Wellllll @Ed Marsh has still not answered my question of why Biden brought in the ILLEGALS in the multi millions. He and/or his elite masters paid the UN to bring them here not just from the countries to the south but from China, Africa...It is definitely not for compassion. It is to cheat more since his last election effort barely worked. Of course, I am just theorizing here. He paid for these illegals and is keeping them with money we don't have and he is paying all sorts of other money that we don't have for all sorts of things.

Mr. Alaska- first, let me remove from your mind the idea that I am in any way concerned if anyone here reads what I post or not. I tell the truth, and if that offends or confuses anyone, so be it. And I never said a word about being "part of the deep state machine" those are your words, and they are meaningless words. I said I was a trained and working writer on many different formats, and that is what I am. Your interpretation is erroneous.

And to be honest, I do have an immature side, but it has nothing to do with the vile former occupant felon. I use the term tRump because I don't want to use the more accurate term which describes him.

And I can't truly find much in common in my life and the way I have lived it and Russ Limbaugh and Donald Trump. (There- I didn't type my "Immature" name for the former occupant felon. Happy now?)


Mr. Anderson- I am not a Democrat. I am not a member of any specific political party. I vote and work for the person who best serves the country, regardless of party.

Ms. Stetler- If you are looking for me to defend Joe Biden, you're going to be waiting for a while. I didn't support Joe Biden. It was just that he was so much better than the alternative.

And to Mr. Cole- Even though you don't read my posts, I will tell you that I don't say a word about Trump's butt- or any other part, for that matter. That would be distasteful to me beyond words. I type his name in a creative and humorous way, but his supporters are just a bit too sensitive and touchy about anyone who has a little fun with their fearless leader.
