It is wonderful what happens when people pray together. there were so many people praying for Florida, and the eye of the hurricane broke, and when it somehow drained the water out of Tampa Bay Area, that protected Tampa from the 12 foot storm surges they were predicting. Such wonderful news ! !
Well, luckily (for him, not me), I was home to make sure he didn't do anything stoopid. I was supposed to fly out on vacation at 6:45 a.m. on Tuesday morning. At about 1:30 a.m., I started getting spam emails supposedly from Allegiant saying my flight was cancelled and they wanted to throw some money/vouchers at me to make up for my "inconvenience". All I had to do was click on this extremely suspicious button to "facilitate my refund/extra money". Suuuure. Then about 2 a.m., I got the official notice from Allegiant that the flight was cancelled. There was no bad weather going on until Wednesday bad enough to cancel the flights, but I heard later than they were concentrating on getting their planes out of Florida and that was taking up all the pilots and crew. What I couldn't figure out is why the spammers had that info and could get spam emails out quite a while before the official notices went out. AND how did they get my information? Sounds like an "inside job" to me.....someone "selling" info to the scammers?
