John haven't given much thought on dual citizenship, although I don't think it sounds good.

I guess I always thought of the "dual citizenship" confection as primarily a step toward erasure of nations, on the path to establishing a global government.

I'm trying to remember since I haven't been through it, but wasn't renouncing your prior citizenship a step in the process of naturalization? Was this something that changed at some point to accommodate special interests?

I just don't know but it always smelled wrong to me, split loyalties running counter to national interests.

I got an email from Trump asking for contributors for the work he needs to do now. I sent him a substantial amount
They are trying to get to Sanctuary Cities like New York thinking they will be safe there before Trump gets in. Problem is that NYC just cancelled food cards--running out of money. I say, if you remove the freebies, they will leave. It is sad for those just looking for a better life but we can no longer be a nanny state and cuts will be made. We have to to save the country. We will have to be firmer with the cartels and gangs.

Talking with friends at lunch today, one brought up the possibility that Trump could do some horse trading with Biden--concessions in exchange for pardons perhaps? She is much more devious than I I guess.

Here is the oath a Naturalized Citizen must take:

"I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty, of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen; that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by the law; and that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; so help me God."

Here's a brief overview of dual citizenship from Investopedia:
    • A child born in the U.S. to parents who are residents of a foreign country may qualify for dual citizenship. Unless the parents are foreign diplomats, the child generally becomes a citizen of the U.S., in addition to any citizenship they inherit from their parents.
    • Similarly, if a child of U.S. citizens is born overseas, they may automatically become a citizen of both the U.S. and their country of birth (although this is situational because it depends on that specific country’s laws).
    • You can obtain dual citizenship by marrying someone who is a citizen of a different country than yourself
    • Dual citizenship can also be achieved through specialized legal processes, such as when a foreign national is naturalized as a U.S. citizen. In this case, that person would become a citizen of both countries, unless their home country does not allow dual citizenship.
    • Some countries also allow people to become naturalized through investment. This means contributing to another country's economy or cultural development. For instance, you can secure citizenship in Saint Kitts and Nevis by making a minimum investment of $250,000 in the country.
    • Keep in mind that not every country recognizes dual citizenship. For instance, Austria, India, Japan, and Norway are some of the countries that prohibit holding two passports.3 As such, you may need to renounce your birth citizenship to become a citizen of a new country.
There are upsides and downsides to dual citizenship (like having dual tax obligations.)

I think that Trump will be removing the criminal and gang members first, since they present an actual danger to American people. Then, he will take away all the benefits that any illegals are receiving, and many of them will leave if they are not being subsidized. Since they all have phones and food cards, we can easily locate these and round them up and ship them back to wherever they came from.
I think that families who are living here and working and have children in school will have some kind of path to citizenship, because we do need people, and workers, just not the spongers and the criminals.
Some of the men are probably military age, and can serve in the military to work towards becoming citizens, but if people have no desire to work to becoming an American, and want to be loyal to their home country, then these people should be sent back there right away.

Trump, as we well know, is a deal-maker, but I don't believe he will make any deal that would not, benefit the US. I trust him or I would not have helped vote him back into our Whitehouse.

I too have done some stinkin-thinkin about President Trump, it's hard to trust people, anyone. But I prayed and put my trust in God, and His will to be done. He put Trump back in power, and I will trust that it is for Americas, and maybe the worlds, good ;)

We were not a welfare nation in 1884. People came here for freedom. They moved to where they could WORK the land and build futures. Europeans are and invasive species and most of us came from there. After the Statue of Liberty went up, we paid more attention as to who came in with quarantines and records. But we have been receiving people since the beginning.
Problems came about recently when some Democrat noticed the voting loopholes. Government 'officials' have been wasting money incessantly for decades without notice. When the coffers were bare, we finally noticed.

I believe that Trump will deport the illegals as he said he would. The thing is, they broke our laws, of course biden/harris did that first. So we need to stand up for our laws and constitution. We have to show the world, and all Americans, that we say what we mean, and mean what we say. We the people want our laws and constitution obeyed. That's why we have law-enforcement, and judges that will not be turning criminals back on the streets.

I think there are going to be a lot of "this" regime's members seeing punishments that fit their crimes. I'll keep praying for that.
