I don't think anyone expects that every illegal will be deported, but if the Trump Administration doesn't make a strong effort to live up to his promises, I don't know that we can expect such a good outcome for Republicans in 2028.
Donald J. Trump has a proven record of keeping his promises, even when the "enemy" fought against him so hard in his first, 4 years. I am not worried one bit about the new administration doing their utmost to keep every promise. We still have a battle on our hands, everyone knows that, most of all those that will fight us every step of the way. But God ordained President Trump to lead us again, and I don't believe He brought us this far to allow it all to be smashed.
The mayor of New York City cancel the food voucher debit card program for illegal Immigrants. My understanding was that they were giving these cards because they didn't like or refused the food served to them. They were getting between 350 and 400 dollars a week to buy the food they like. I guess now it's take it or leave it or starve.
I think his main focus will be on deporting criminals, those with mental problems, Terrorist, Gang members, Drug dealers etc.
One factor is that the Labor Force Participation Rate is extremely low, as is the Unemployment Rate. This means that there is a high number of Americans who are of working age who don't have a job, and for whatever reason they are not actively seeking employment. We need to get the health of the economy back and get Americans into those jobs before we import more labor.
The visual of the caravan's coming through the borders seem to be all healthy work ready people. I didn't see anybody coming across with canes or wheelchairs. If the government has to pay for their keep, then while they're here, They should be given unskilled jobs. It all depends on how many are coming here for freebees and how many want to succeed. That may help reduce the migration if they have to work. Bottom line I think the Senate and House will have to figure it out and pass laws to deal with illegals. Trump may want to use the existing laws, but this is a special circumstance.
For every action….etc. When and if they pull the food cards, the police and the DA along with ICE is going to have to be ready for a surge in theft and other semi-violent and violent crimes. For some working illegals, the food card is a nice addition to a pay check but for others without employment, it may charge up some attitudes that lead to a more hostile grouping that is bent on a more violent way of obtaining what they want. Before that all happens, the Mayor needs to publicly announce that any illegals caught in a criminal activity will serve prison time and / or be deported back to their country of origin.
While the illegals have the cards and the phones, they can be easily tracked, so even after the payments stop, if they still have money on the card, they will keep it, and ICE can find them and send them back home somewhere. They were able to track phones and tell that a lot of those people were the ones being bussed to the Harris rallies, and probably to make the illegal votes, too. They might think they got away with it because they didn’t have to show ID, but if their phone shows there were there, then they are likely to be charged with illegal voting anyway.
We need to get Americans willing to work too. My son works for a large company and he was talking about trying to hire workers. The jobs he was hiring for were truss assembly workers. No degree or special education required. Pay is $26 /hr. with benefits and he can get no one to even apply. For some jobs, drug screens are also required--truckers, heavy equipment, etc., and since recreational cannabis is now legal here, finding workers that can pass a drug test is getting to be almost impossible.
The problem is that we already have laws that are not being enforced. Politicians don't get to pass more laws until they find some they are willing to enforce, because those laws will bind American citizens to fund things and not hold illegals accountable for their trespass.
They're here illegally, period. They deserve nothing but a ride home, even that shouldn't be at the "peoples" expense, but out of the pockets of those in high places (BIG government in our BIG cities). Biden and Harris would probably avoid prison since I'm pretty sure they can proved of insanity. Your padded cell awaits, we wouldn't want you to hurt yourselves I'm thinking that last sentence over
I don't agree 100%. Yes, we do have laws to return illegal immigrants. However, with the amount that's in this country now, what's the estimate 8 to twelve millionly each one of those Would have to go through a court system. We need laws to find a shorter route to sent them back to there country. We could not process all of these illegal immigrants with the existing process. I believe they knew that when they let them in, it a logistics nightmare.
It was the laws that protect our borders and spell out the process to come here legally I was referring to. We need to send every single one back home no matter the cost and have them come in the right way; otherwise, the door shall always be open and our laws are nothing but idle threats made to a disobedient child. How much is it costing to keep the J6 people in jail merely because they are enemies of the Democrats? We are living in upside-down world.
