We have laws that allow illegals to stay here in the US?? That's news to me, and sad at that if it's true. Someone made a law that it's legal for people to brake the law??
When, I was talking about this being a special circumstance, it was to make a legal plan to expedite there exist. Present law from what I understand could take forever. The system in place cannot handle this quantity. We need a method find and immediately return to there country. Right now that's illegal.
Tom Homan, a former leader of ICE is expected to lead the deportation program. In his interview this morning, he said the criminals and national security threats will be dealt with first. He said the costs will be offset by the end of the subsidies to illegals. According to him, we are not only financing the housing and food, but paying for their education and these are in place in perpetuity unless stopped. The "Remain in Mexico" policy was the most successful policy to secure the border in history.
No there still illegal, but to return them you have to process them through the court. It not a simple grab them and send them back. At lease that what I was told. Any criminal has to have due process is my understanding.
I do not know if this is true, but someone posted that in New York, it was hard to find a rental car right now. They said that the rental lots were not getting them back in from last week, and the thought was that the illegals have rented the cars and are driving them back to Mexico. Since they are given ID’s and bank cards, it is probably possible that they could rent a vehicle. They might even be able to buy or lease one on payments, and then skip the country. In any case, it sounds like some of them are either deporting themselves or getting ready to do that. If they go on their own, they can take whatever money and person belongings they have, and if they are arrested, they are going back with nothing at all.
Ok Tony, I was confused, so yes, I see you clarified that in your original reply, apologies. That really doesn't seem right, but then when one of those that murdered in our country, have to stand trial here. And, I do understand "the criminals" that were knowingly sent here by their own country, are not wanted back. But if I know Trump, he will pull any support, say, Venezuala is getting from the US, unless they take them back I hope
If I was in their shoes, I'd probably high-tail-it outa here too if possible. That will be a blessing, maybe not for the rental companies, but certainly save having to find them (the cost of that, including our law-enforcement's lives) then pay for their tickets back to their country. I'm betting Mexico isn't very happy to hear this. I don't even know what Mexico's borders are like If biden and harris, or whoever isn't punished for this invasion, well, I don't think they should get away with it, I'll just say that
I totally agree with this, it would take years to find them all, but, maybe not. Yes, the Left has turned what is a lie, into the truth, or tried to. Luckily, there are many more smart people in this country than I thought. We just didn't hear them loud and clear until November 5, 2024, a day I won't forget as long as I live, and hope it lives on in the memories of the many young voters we had show up for Trump-Vance
This is on the internet. First let me say I want illegals return as bad as any of you. Maybe I'm playing Devil's Advocate. Do illegal immigrants have any rights in the US? The Right to Due Process This right is guaranteed by the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments of the Constitution. Undocumented immigrants have the right to be informed of the charges against them, the right to an attorney, and the right to present evidence in their defense.
More good news, thank you @Don Alaska, that former leader of ICE, Yesssssss!! I hope he does lead it!!
Well that's the law then, and I won't argue with that. Who pays for the money it costs to prosecute, plus lawyers to represent them all, and how many years? Sounds like a law that should take into account of the "special" circumstances of an invasion, where biden harris did nothing to stop it.
Yup. And once again, the pot is stirred between honest Americans by corrupt politicians who fail to meet their basic obligations. It sucks that we are [rightly] the most immigrant-friendly nation on the face of the planet, the Left plays games with it, and we pay the price.
I think that our constitution only protects American citizens, and it is not for people who are citizens of some other country, especially if they are in this country illegally. However, we do still charge them with crimes and give them a trial, the same as an actual citizen; but I do not think that they would have the same rights as a citizen does, like to have a government funded attorney. They probably get that anyway, since they get more of all the other benefits than actual citizens do. However, I think that Trump is going to have ICE round them up and deport them, and not charge them criminally and take each one to court.
I have a friend who ran a construction company in California. For years, he employed US citizens and paid them a living wage. However, as more and more illegals streamed into the state, he found that he couldn't compete without hiring illegals because his competition was hiring illegals and undercutting him. He moved his company to Colorado and soon found the same thing happening there. There are few, if any, jobs that Americans won't do for the right price. Illegals keep wages down.
Yes, but patriots have taken back our country, including some folks here, so things will change, it will be better. But it will be a long road, maybe not as long as we think. I have so much hope since the election, I have to remember what it was like before we all voted Trump Horrifying to say the least!
