It's so you Yvonne smith. All you are missing is a nose ring to complete the ensemble. About as goth as I get in real life is black fingernail polish. I do wear that from time to time just for something different. I am a bit of a nail nibbler though so I can rarely keep polish on. I should dig out the black in honor of goth day. Then I will feel in the spirit of things.:)

So there I was, Sitting at a table in the Long Branch sipping warm beer between shots of bad whiskey. Kitty was standing at the end of the bar with Matt. Doc and Chester were at the bar arguing. Doc had Chester so flustered, Chester could hardly talk.
Then, this rough looking cowboy walks in, looks around. As soon as he saw me, he draws his pistol and fires at me. I heard the blast of the shot, saw the flash from the muzzle of his gun, and the cloud of smoke.
Then, I awoke to the banging din of the garbage truck in the alley outside my window.

Good Morning all! that sounds like one scary dream Ike..at least Doc was there on the spot! I unwisely took two aspirins on an empty stomach last night, that and the coffee and soda I had earlier had my stomach in agony last night..something that rarely happens to me..I had to take pepto, tums and eat a banana. Not suprisingly I had a nightmare. I dreamed that I had done some work and never got paid..and I went to my second cousin who has mysteriously transformed into a lawyer..I do have a second cousin who is a lawyer but it was not him...and she said she didn't prevail on her employment cases. We were considering other alternatives when I woke up..Of course it is raining here again this AM:rolleyes:

Good Morning, everyone. Hope y'all had a nice weekend. It seems they still go very fast, even though I am no longer working. Heading out in a bit, hoping it doesn't storm while I'm out, but I see the sun peeking through the clouds, so hopefully it will prevail, and be good driving weather. Have a great day, y'all.

Next month is going to be a busy month. Building inspections in mid month, 4 doc appointments during the last week of the month. That's more than I want to deal with.
Didn't sleep all night last night. Think I know why. Yesterday all I ate was a sandwich and a cup of yogurt. Just wasn't hungry and it didn't occur to me to eat anyway and induce sleep. This morning I ate breakfast and started feeling much better.
My old aunt used to say she would forget to eat. I thought that was the silliest thing I ever heard. Now I know, you really can more or less forget to eat.
A plate of sausage and eggs would go good now.:)

That looks good Joe Riley, but I am doing a juice fast today. I read that if you eat like 500 calories one day and regularly the next you can lose like 2 pounds a week. Also, it gives your digestive system a break, (in my case, a well needed one) I am sure my duodenum is jumping up and down with glee. Anyway, I am trying it. Maybe tommrrow...sans bacon..I don't have any.

@K E Gordon , is that the "every other day" diet? I've heard of it.

Good Morning, Y'all. @Ike Willis Hope you get your appetite back. I'm sure being able to eat what you want would help. We can't have you disappearing again, we'd be hunting you down again ;).

I've already been up and out, only because I needed some supplies. I had to run a kitty to the vet yesterday, and only grabbed the minimal supplies after, since she was in the car (locked, with AC on), and I didn't want to leave her long. I did leave a note on her carrier not to break the glass, that I was just getting cat food. Today I had to go back for the rest. It's difficult to squirt pedialtye in a cat's mouth, even when she's a gentle one. Hopefully we'll both be feeling better soon. The sun's shining, but there are lots of clouds as well, and it'll be that way all week. I'm going to hang at home and recuperate. Hope y'all are having a good day.

Today is a gorgeous sunshiny day here in Northern Alabama ! We are supposed to hit 90 (89-94) for the rest of this month, so everything in the garden should just really start growing . Yesterday, I started a few more seeds in containers, and planted some in the little flowerbox that Bobby built for Chipper on the front porch.
Does that make you wonder ....... Why does a little dog need a flower box ?
    Well, here is the reason.
Chipper is gtting old, and he can't see or hear very well anymore, although he is healthy enough and gets around fine. He does prefer the ramp that @Bobby Cole built on the front porch to trying to hop up the back steps nowdays though, so we usually let him out the front door.

The problem is that when he walks back up the ramp, he would look for me standing at the front door watching him, and not look where he was going. I was afraid that he would fall off of the side of the ramp and hurt himself, and I asked Bobby to put up some kind of a little railing to keep Chipper from falling off.
Bobby made a long narrow little flowerbox and put it up along the edge of the ramp, and now Chipper can walk up it and I don't worry that he will fall off.
I planted a couple of small mint plants in there and some chives and cucumber seeds, so we will see what grows.

    I
It is, I am not starving, but I do notice a depletion in my energy so that is a bit of an issue..but hey if I lose 5 pounds this week, I will be happy. I am not sure how long
I will do this though, as I said it is partially based on results, if the results are worth it..I may continue for awhile. Researchers, ya gotta love them, they always come out with something new and improved lol.
