I only buy Kit Kats because I think I'll eat only one wafer at a time. It only works that way in my head.
Yum! I'll have to wait for tomorrow, but I think I'll buy Fast Break... those are fast becoming my favorite obsession and they've surpassed Reese's PBC.. at least for the moment. (They're Reese's, too, I do believe.) Yesterday was World Chocolate Day. I cannot *believe* I missed it!
Oh, I feel your pain! I've been buying the little mini Fast Breaks in a 5-bar package. It's like $1.00 and my plan is always to "eat one every couple of days." Uh huh, sure, Mari, sure. They're generally gone by Monday when I buy them Saturday.
How perfect, without knowing it, I bought chocolate yesterday! I never buy chocolate. What are the odds of that...should buy a lotto ticket.
What troubles me a lot about "pacifier" food, specifically ICE CREAM (!), (drool), is the way makers have in recent years quietly snipped away at the size of the containers. A half-gallon was once a half-gallon, 64 ounces. Yep! Now, what, 56, some 48, even 44 ounces, cleverly put into cleverly-shaped containers which look to be bigger in volume than they really are! Favorite: Raspberry-Ripple, (or ribbon), depending on your particular growing up place! Frank
Well, I think we are in an inflationary cycle like we were in the 1970's. Soon companies will be tired of hearing complaints from people and will go back to making full size of everything. The price of the items will jump up to two times the price of what they were. This is something that happens over and over again.
