I read few days ago that the blight is wiping out bananas! Could not tell if a particular kind or all of them. Regarless that is bad because bananas are are good and ready made to eat.
I have bananas for breakfast on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I slice them and add them to my bowls of Raisin Bran, with milk and sugar. On the other days I have different things for Breakfast, don't you know. Harold
"Superlambanana is a bright yellow sculpture in Liverpool, England. Weighing almost 8 tonnes and standing at 5.2 metres (17 feet) tall, it is intended to be a cross between a banana and a lamb and was designed by New York City-based Japanese artist Taro Chiezo. It currently stands in Tithebarn Street, outside the LJMU Avril Robarts Library/Learning Resource Centre, having previously been located on Wapping near the Albert Dock. " "Chiezo himself only created a four-inch model, while the full-size replica was made by local artists Andy Small, Julian Taylor, Tommy Reason, and Ray Stokes. Developed for the 1998 ArtTransPennine Exhibition, the sculpture is both a comment on the dangers of genetic engineering and is heavily influenced by the history of Liverpool: historically, both sheep and bananas were common cargos in the city's docks."
