I begin each day with a song
and keep singing all day long
    'cause when I shut down
    my face forms a frown
and that, I know, would be wrong.

Hope you all have a wonderful day.

Very inspiring poem. I need to sing more. :) I've never been good a poetry since my school days, especially the rhyming part, so I admire your skill.

Thanks, you made me smile. I, too, find singing to be a great way to lift my spirits. There are times when I just put on some good music, crank the stereo, sing at the top of my lungs and dance.

My husband thinks I'm crazy, but he never fails to notice and comment on how happy I look. When my son was little, I would swing him up on my hip, and we would dance all over the house. It was great fun. Of course, he's 25 now, so that's impossible, but.....the next time he comes over, I'm going to make him dance with me!! What a great idea.

Molly that was delightful! Thank you for sharing it with us! I sometimes get a song or a favorite poem in my head, and it helps me get through the rougher parts of my day. I hope you have a wonderful day as well, and a lot more of them!:) God bless you!

Thank you for the inspiration, @Molly Fenster I 'd luv to read more about your writings and shares here.

    I've got one poem:

    The kindest and happiest face
    Is sweet, enchanting grace
In you, Molly, each day you pass by
to bring love and jolly. Oh, what'a delight!

I'm new here. And I'm glad to be here. :)

Fantastic poems, folks! I usually write fiction, because I've never had my way with rhymes and all the poem techniques, but I do enjoy a poem or two every now and then!

Great poem, everyone should write it down a on a piece of paper and hang it in their room, so that every day when they wake up they get motivated and inspired by your poem, very sensitive. :)
