    Eugene V. Debs ran for POTUS 5 times in the Presidential Elections from 1900 thru 1920.

    He was also a founder of the International Workers Of The World. (the "Wobblies")

    John Brennan's hero, Gus Hall , original name Arvo Kusta Halber, (October 8, 1910-October 13, 2000), American political organizer was general secretary of the Communist Party of the United States of America (CPUSA; 1959–2000) and a four-time candidate for U.S. president (1972, 1976, 1980, 1984).
