It was the start of fashion really wasn't it - fab clothes and great music which only got better
    Although I'm a 60s girl at heart, I love the 40s & 50s too

I love the sixties too. Must have been quite daring in those days the fashion of the twenties as they were showing leg. I thought they looked very feminine

I guess it was quite daring going from the longer dresses. I never liked jazz though. Some 50's but mostly 60's.

I can't say I am a fan of jazz either. I just like the clothes.

@Honey Gee - yes daring it was, the pop socks let them down though :p

As for jazz, I love it but it has to be swing type, Glen Miller - Frank S, that type o thing

I am a fan of the 60's, too, and totally LOVE the big bell bottoms . I remember reading the Frederick's of Hollywood catalogs and they had the really sexy bell bottoms with huge flaring legs. I never had any of those, of course; but I loved looking.
I was part of a horseback drill team, and we made our jeans into bell bottoms by cutting out the outside seams, and then we all sewed in matching red/white checkered material into the jeans to make it flare out at the bottom.
My mother was a young woman back then, and here is a picture of her that was taken in the mid-1920's.

I seem to be in the minority here, I love Jazz and Classical Music.
The wife 'Hates' Jazz, so I usually go to those concerts by myself.
This sums up how she feels about Jazz:
