Leaving the United Nations would be a spectacularly good move on the part of the United States, but I don't see Trump doing that. I hope I'm wrong but he is talking about making the UN more effective.

At first, the U.N. and it's 26 or so members came together with a singular goal of going against the axis powers but along the way has become a governing body sometimes working against it's own members. I do believe that Trump was right when he inferred that it had a good purpose at one time and it still could but at present it doesn't look like there is a lot of promise in that happening. At present, the U.N. is filled with a bunch of overpaid pusillanimous politicians who, for the most part, fall all over themselves looking for the U.S. Dollar and will vote however they are told to vote and do what they are told to do if the U.S.A. Tells them to do it. One of the weirdest sides of the U.N. might be the human rights commission of which Libya and Cuba are a part of but Israel is not allowed to stand for election to that branch of the U.N. Cuba and Libya have no right preaching about human rights but there they are in the governing body and guess who sponsored their admission?.........Naw........guessing that one is way too easy.................
They need to dissolve the UN it was formed as the New World Order a group on non elected people having control over people that have a government in some cases elected by the people. Every time you get a group of non elected people and give them control over people we have a problem there is many more than just the UN like WHO, CDC, AMA, and so on.
Bill introduced to remove US from United Nations 22 JANUARY, 2017 A proposed House Resolution would set the stage for the United States to remove itself from the United Nations. The proposed “American Sovereignty Restoration Act of 2017” is sponsored by Rep. Mike Rogers (R-AL). It was introduced in the House on Jan. 3 and referred to the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, according to the Congress website. The bill proposes that the United States terminate its membership in the UN, that the UN removes its headquarters from the US, and that the US stops participating in the World Health Organization.
