Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens ..haha..oh wait...that's someone else.. A rainy morning when I'm tucked in bed Mail that isn't an ad! My dog's happy dance Birds and their sounds Hydrangeas Freshly mowed grass Clean sheets Biting into a warm, buttered biscuit Hugging a loved one
My grandsons and the look of sheer joy and happiness on their faces when they see me. My dog when he's being clever Listening to the soft breathing he does when sleeping at night, just like a real baby. Something delicious and low calorie A day when everything is accomplished and I don't feel guilty about being on my ipad. A cloudy, rainy day. A perfect flight, no lost luggage, no missed connections, no bad turbulence, no running to make a flight and no having to spend the night in a strange city because I missed my connection. I don't think I've had one like this. The smells of lilacs, jasmine, baby powder, a baby, any cooking or baking smell, fresh coffee, a new car, and last but not least and slightly naughty...sex.
Some of my favorite things... family friends happy times like birthday when you can have just what you want to eat, weddings, anniversaries... smells of fresh bread baking watching and hearing the birds around my neighborhood watching my favorite television programs like Castle, The Catch, NCIS, NCIS New Orleans... having a netbook to borrow from the library cats and kittens
My morning sunrise walks. Watching the stars on a clear night. Reading Being with my wife The Oceanside A hot pizza w/ sausage, green peppers and onions Being fairly healthy, at my age. Reminiscing about the old days
Mine is My Grandfurkids who tumble over themselves with excitement when they see me trying to get to me first Sunny warm days.. My daughters' mountain home in Spain Swimming in my outdoor pool in Spain ( too cold here) Hardback book propped up on a cushion in bed at night The wonder of online shopping which means I don't have to go out on rainy cold days like this The NHS which has been there for me many times particularly in the last 2 years Seniors Only !
Some more of my favorite things: Waking up to my Honey each morning. Enjoying my flavored cup of coffee and sweet treat when I wake up. Playing the Word game with my sister and youngest daughter...and Scrabble with @Michelle Anderson. Holding my precious newborn grandson and watching him stare at me in wonder and delight. Knowing I am loved and loving others.
