Animals Playing Dead

    Traditionally, of course, the "play dead" animal is the Opossum. I caught several in my trap in MO, attempting to stave off an attack on my wife's garden which predictably would have decimated it. The Opossum is far from docile, I learned, as it bared the most ugly curved teeth I have ever seen! Bitten, they would surely rip flesh of the opponent to shreds.

    Caged, it did not "play 'Possum" in the least bit.
