Many of us have a love-hate relationship with the group, Anonymous. Recently, however, they seem to have joined the war against ISIS, claiming to have taken down more than five thousand ISIS twitter accounts, and leaking personal information about ISIS sympathizers.
I hope this is true. According to some reports, the group, Anonymous, is flooding pro-ISIS hashtags with "Rick Roll" videos. Whenever an ISIS account tries to spread a message or get something trending, the topic will be flooded with videos of Rick Astley circa 1987.
Rick Astley! LOL I read this and got such a kick out of it! I have a love/hate relationship with Anonymous too, but this is priceless! I'd say it's true. Anonymous says they're better hackers. Can't argue with that!
The problem with Anon taking down all those Twitter accounts is that now our government will have to start a new search to find intelligence. I don't think the little masked boys had thought of that. I like the Rick Roll, though - that's a classy piece of nostalgic hacking.
