You got that right. On the step ladder of life, politicians are bottom rung, along with criminals of all kinds. Lawyers are up one step, along with doctors. The upper rungs are for the rest of us, IMHO.
I'm tired of the gun grabbers. It's funny how they are the ones with private security, or special allowances to carry a gun, yet they expect us to be o.k. with not having protection. It always irked me that in Massachusetts, you had to show a specific need before they would issue a pistol permit. Wanting to be safe wasn't enough, regardless of where you lived or worked, unless you had connections. I couldn't live in a place that restricted my freedom and right to self-protection like that.
It seems that all the attention is on guns and the doctors get a pass. Most all the shooting and mass murder were people on drugs given to them by doctors.
When I had to sell my mom's house I had to move into an apartment building. It really hurt having to sell my 50+ guns. Seems this building and others like it have a no gun policy. They'd rather we be victims rather than survivors.
