Yes, Ive been in Vienna a few times and also another town but can't remember the name. While we lived in Hungary those 6 years, we used a bank in Austria for our savings, etc....just felt more comfortable at that time since Hungary was still new to democracy.
Just saw this in my daughter's area news.... Carmel, CA. Voted prettiest town in California...it's true in my opinion. Ive been there many many times....that's the town where Clint Eastwood was the mayor. https://www.kion546.com/news/carmel-voted-prettiest-town-in-california/778118090 I never get tired of going there, but there are lots of quaint towns in CA. Fresno is not one of them though.
Yes, Carmel is beautiful. Never been there, but have been to the quaint town of Solvang that has absolutely tasty pastries. But, that town you are showing, Patsy, we'd absolutely LOVE to go to Austria and see it. Actually, my wife would love to take me to Paris and London. She's visited there. And, we both love to go to Venice, Italy. But, that big word "MONEY" always comes into view, that we just don't have.
Its Hallstatt - in Austria I too would have loved to have gone to Italy, not only beautiful but I like the language and Lasagne so much Paris ………...non
I was in Paris many years ago and that was enough. Saw the important tourist attractions and that's that. Ive never been to London though, except at Heathrow getting a connection.
@Chrissy Cross - yep, never wanted to go to Paris As for London, a great place years ago - not so now, but I guess some will like it
You can come over to London @Cody Fousnaugh , I'll show you and your wife around all the nicest parts of the city as well as the even nicer parts outside the city which most tourists don't get to know about or see...
