It's an essential part of the traditional Sunday roast beef dinner in England Chrissy

Now I'm hungry. Maybe if I take a look at the beef fudge my appetite will go away. :)

Would you stop making me hungry?! I can't eat for another 5 hours, @Terry Page ! I remember my first taste of Bangers and Mash at a British Pub... I was hooked. :) And yes, before you say it, I'm rather sure that what we call British Pubs here (mine was Florida) are nothing like yours! But the food's good!

The US has another version of Toad in a Hole. It's a slice of bread with a circle cut out. In the hole, is an egg. It's all fried in a pan. I used to make these for my small grandsons on Sat. mornings.

There is an English style pub on the ground floor of Lisa's apartment block, we have had meals there in the past, but it's expensive and their bangers and mash is a bit nouvelle cuisine.

Next time I go to TJs I'll try them...if my store carries them. It was in a Buzzfeed article about TJ's and I was surprised to see them mentioned because I don't think I've seen them in my store.

Chrissy, I Googled for it. I don't shop for potato chips either. Just Multigrain Tortilla Chips.
