Bright Produce For Optimal Cell Health

    [​IMG]This is the picture of the above mentioned Sprite Melon. Apparently it comes orignally from Japan, but is now being grown in North Carolina during the summer months. I bought mine at Kroger.

    I haven't seen it but that doesn't mean anything because I usually pass the fruit section and head for the veggies.

    Today's produce haul was locally grown Romaine lettuce to wrap around my "Korean Lettuce Beef Cups" (dark green veggie, so doing well there)... avocado (of course!) Dark green again... and cut up honeydew melon (yeah, I really do pay to have someone else cut it up for me... don't like buying whole melons.) :eek: That's light green but... this in addition to the produce from the farmers market yesterday. Hopefully this adds up to a week of healthy eating.
