The Peterson case is a disgrace to say the least and definitely is disturbing. One other thing that is rathe troublesome is that I heard a news bit this morning that said that Canadian’s on Twitter (X) need to be careful what they write or they could lose their ability to bank. It would seem that Trudeau’s regime has gone to a full blown Oligarchy / Communistic type of government.
England is right there, too. They are talking about extraditing non-citizens for things that they post on social media. They are already prosecuting their own citizens for posting unapproved positions.
It was a few months ago but I’m pretty sure that it was J. Peterson who said in an interview that England had imprisoned over 3K of its citizens for contrary things they wrote or said.
That little UK man with the big mouth is really mad at Elon Musk. Elon Musk has made headlines for criticizing Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer's response to the riots over the past week, suggesting the U.K. is headed toward "civil war." I'm not sure if it's civil war or a complete takeover of the UK by all the Muslims they've imported but the rest of the world is allowed to have an opinion on their stupidity. Of course we aren't so far from that situation ourselves. I think we're a lot heavier on criminals imported from Latin American than Muslims so far but Biden's imports are making crime really bad here too.
I read an article titled "50% of American Citizens Think That Speech Should Be Regulated." Of course, "50%" of a small, specifically-selected sampling may have agreed with that statement. But seeds are being planted here.
It's all part of the plan. Soros-funded state attorneys are refusing to prosecute such cases, and in Virginia when parents raged at school boards because in-school rapists were just being relocated like some Catholic priest, the FBI labels them as "Domestic Terrorists."
In North Carolina, it is illegal to Threaten another person because it is felt that the next step to a threat is physical violence. You can call somebody every nasty name in the book (which incites violence in my book) and talk about their mama in a crude manner but the second you actually threaten someone with physical violence…you’re going to jail. Now, whether or not a threat is Constitutionally considered free speech I have no idea but N.C. and a few other states are getting away with making threats a prosecutable act.
That's how freedom gets raped. Actual crimes do not get prosecuted, but behaviour that may lead to a crime is now criminalized. We need a law that says failure to prosecute crime may lead to violence.
