Coincidences

@Holly Saunders - that is pretty amazing ... another coincidence : Garry the Pilot and Sorrel (see my coincidence story above) were in Granada very recently as well - imagine if you had bumped into them somehow and then @Patsy Faye started this thread dand we made the connection ...............

@Patsy Faye - that is a touching coincidence and a poignant memory

 

I read a great true account of this lady that travelled up to London to mark the passing of her husband, she
arranged to meet her daughter for lunch. After that they walked and came to a Cathedral (the one I was married in)
the lady stood and looked at her watch, it was 12.20 which was the exact time 'she' was wed. She then looked down at the
paving stone and on the very spot she stood, was the name of the church where she was wed just scribbled on the
paving slab - WOW, this was a message to her for sure !

 

I don't remember exactly when this started happening but it was a long time before I ever married my husband Steven. But one day I noticed when I would brush my hair or wash it and a hair or two would end up in the sink or tub...more often then not they would form the letter S. After awhile I started wondering what were those S's were trying to tell me. Now that I have been married to my Steven over 12 years and those stray hairs are still forming those S's I smile when I see them and know that the those S's are to remind me that I married the right man...finally!

 

I believe we do get messages, some of us just don't recognise that or are preoccupied

A neighbour told me she's expecting a guest that pays a rare visit and everytime he comes, it snows !
I says, well it won't now surely, when's he coming ? Feb 10th she says ................

We had our first flurry of snow today - the 10th !

 

But was it really the absolute first snow flurry? . Are you sure? I'm just kidding, Patsy.

 

Yea - the first this year anyway been cold enough at times

Well, worth a try reviving it

 

The odd coincidence that comes to mind for me: my mother and father each had an older brother stationed at Pearl Harbor when it was bombed, and it was around 3 years before my parents met. As my parents lived on opposite coasts, there wasn't any other connection. It struck me as unusual.

 

Unusual ? It sure is, bet they had plenty to talk about
