Well, a lot of children have been killed by guns in the last 20 yrs that I can bring to mind. I won't go back to Kent State but that was probably more than 20 yrs ago. Longer ago:

The authorities had a gun collection removed from my grandkids home when their parents were having some domestic issues. Guns kill too many and even lovely animals.

Did you even watch that video? And FYI, the Kent State shootings were the National Guard firing on unarmed students. Not exactly germane to this topic.

So what, I brought this up re: school shootings. I don't care who has the gun, they kill too too many innocent people including too many parents' children.

And yes, I'd love to see a world with NO GUNS. Imagine that, families living and doing their lives since that's why they were born, No?

Actually Kent State is witness to who the gun control advocates want to have guns--the military and law enforcement...and the guards who protect the gun control supporters. National Guardsmen shot down unarmed students who were protesting war. I guess that is really what some want to support, and they don't want anyone to have the ability to shoot back.

Absolutely! We should totally disarm the United States. We can depend on Russia, China, North Korea, and Syria to keep us safe. Great idea. Have you ever thought of running for president?

I did say, I believe, I'd like to see the WORLD gun free.

And it's amazing how people want to read or see, what they choose to and ignore what they choose to.

Anyone lose a child by a gun? My aunt lost a son in their home many yrs ago.

The same people who want you to give up your guns to a government the do not trust. Insanity. I have never seen a gun kill anyone I have seen crazy people kill others and some used gun others cars some even used knives and planes. I also seen guns save people.

Maybe you would think differently if you lost a child by a gun. Ask a parent who has.

Oh guns save? I know them otherwise, they are meant to harm and kill.

My gun sitting in the closed has never ran out and killed anyone. One of the safest places to be is in a gun store.
You are confusing what is used in the crime as the crime. More people are killed with cars ban them next.

I'm sorry, but I don't live in a world populated by unicorns, so I dismissed that idea. I guess I'm buying the wrong kind of guns anyhow because mine hasn't killed anyone or anything, for that matter.

Joy, I don't think Cain used a gun to kill Able. Man's inhumanity to Man has been going on since the beginning.

Like you Martin, I have the laziest guns in the world sitting in my closet. The cleaning lady was here, tax assessor stopped by, UPS delivered but that lazy gun did nothing but sit there. I sure hope nothing serious happens here.

That's for sure and we need guns to add to the massacres. Yes, I know there are a lot of gun lovers here and another topic of disagreement. And we need to go back to Cain & Able?

Why a gun in your closet? I've lived almost 81 yrs and no gun ever touched my hands or presence. Different strokes for sure and mindsets. And how have I made it this far with no gun in my closet? I don't know a soul who owns a gun except my son in law who is now gone, who had a case taken out of his home due to domestic issues and fear for the children.
