@Yvonne Smith Please move to right forum. Have you ever noticed a denture wearer smiling and showing their perfect teeth at a restaurant, then when the food arrives, pop them out and gum their food? I quit going to the senior center lunches because of this. I wear dentures, but paid a lot for premium well fitting dentures that I could chew with. Some days if they don't feel secure and I don't want to glue, I go without them when going out to eat. Sure I look old, all ugly, and learned to smile with my lips closed, but I have never been guilty of taking them out in front of everybody to eat. I noticed some turn away, but it is still obvious what they are doing. It makes me want to vomit when I see this vain behavior. This is the only acceptable exception to the rule I plan to do this on my 100th birthday.
