I do. My arthritis and neuropathy makes using a back brush impossible for me. I have one of the Assisted Living care providers wash my backside as I sit in my shower chair. It's one of the two activities of daily living that my long term care insurance requires for payment of benefits.
I bought my first back brush a month or so ago. I'd been thinking of getting one for a long time. I don't know why I hadn't bought one before. Probably all those bad Amazon reviews.
Yeah, a little bit. I use a slightly larger than usual wash rag, so that I can grasp that with both hands and manage. But it's not nearly as easy as it once was.
Walmart had an interesting back scrubber. It was like a long, thin, rough towel with a handle sewn into each end. Like a shoe shine rag, you throw it over your shoulder, grab the dangling end and buff your back. But not sure if they still have them. It was a long time ago. One could probably get a second one to clean one's bum. I still use a bath brush with gentle bristles.
I use a proper long-handled back brush with massaging studs embedded among the bristles. I removed the studs. I soap the bristles and work from the waist up and from the neck down. This makes my back as clean as hell. Harry
