New policy: If you are angry with the way the forum is operated and want to leave, then leave. Bickering about it within a public thread is disruptive and, while some may enjoy the drama, it is not good for the forum. This isn't really very different from what I have posted before, except that I will be deleting such threads or posts.

When a thread is created for the sole purpose of complaining about other people in the forum, or about how the forum is operated, it is disruptive. When posts are made within another thread, they are off-topic.

If you have a problem with the way the forum is operated, we have a REPORT feature for that, or you can simply contact me or Yvonne. If you have a problem with something that someone else has said, I would prefer that you try working it out for yourselves in private conversation; otherwise, you may report these posts as well. I may not act on your report, but that doesn't mean that it wasn't considered.

This does not mean that I want you to leave the forum, and I am not addressing this to anyone in particular. If I really wanted you to leave, I would have probably removed you. What I don't want are threads whose result, if not their purpose, is to draw the entire forum into whatever it is that you're upset about, whether it be another forum member or the forum itself.

Thank you to the ADMIN.....For the explanation and policies....something happened because of something so petty. Will admit major hurt feelings when a member is told by a fellow member that you do not to make contributions to the forum. That hurts very deeply, i will not leave this site, unless i'm requested to do so by the authority. Thank you for reading this. :(.

On the other hand, if you're leaving for reasons other than complaints, and simply want to say goodbye, that's fine. Just don't draw everyone else into your drama.

Ha! When I leave, it will likely be accompanied by a discordant remark, like perhaps, "Go fly a kite!"

I think it's important for all of us to remember, that even though we are online, the people we are interacting with are real people with real feelings.
I know I've posted things I've regretted later and maybe other people have as well, but it only takes a quick Private Message to say sorry. :)

Or, we can just do what we do in real life when people are irritating; put 'em on "ignore." :p

If you find yourself staying up late at night, trying to think of things to be offended or concerned about, maybe it's time for a break.

Someone wrote something offensive so I was offended but I couldn’t defend being offended because being offended somehow feels offensive so I quit feeling offended and now.....I’m happy.
