In the early 80's I went to see the musical play, "Dreamgirls". It was so great that I went six times to see it! On the last evening, I managed to go back stage and met Ms. Holliday. So was so sweet and actually apologized for that evenings performance as she was not feeling well. I could not tell the difference. In this video cut, she performs the outstanding "And I"m telling you". It starts with a bit of the show but at 3:00 the song begins. You will notice that she receives three standing ovations and it was the same every time I saw the show! The video is old and not that great, but her song is still fantastic! I hope you enjoy!
I like her voice also, there are several songs of Jennifer Holliday that I really enjoy. I am also a fan of Lorettta Devine I enjoyed the clip thanks for sharing.
