    When I moved into this house way back in 1980... there was one of those left in the attic by the last owners..

    The Electrolux company had a factory in a town 25 miles from here... and I knew people who worked there up until it closed in the 90's..

    That is exactly what my mother had also.
    In fact, one of my earliest memories was crawling along behind the vacuum when she was using it. The air came out of the back, and it was warm and I remember that I like the feel of it blowing on my face.
    I was probably around five because it was after we had moved into the house where i grew up.
    I think that the vacuum had probably belonged to my grandmother because it already looked older, even back then. That is actually the only vacuum that I remember my mom ever having.
