There has been torrential rains that have caused severe flooding in Pakistan, Afghanistan, and in Dubai, UAE. The whole airport was under several feet of water in Dubai, and they said they had more rain overnight than usually happens in a whole year. There are videos of it flowing out into the desert even, and one video was a poor little kitty who was hanging onto the door handle of a car at the airport, and the car was flooded all the way up to the handles when the police rescued the cat from the flood.
