A "kit" or kitten.

 

Seriously? They are really called kittens? I didn't know that until @Beth Gallagher replied with the information.

 

Most people think they are "bunnies." (My grandpa had a rabbit hutch and raised a few.)

 

A couple of glasses of Gatorade is said to immediately relieve a headache better than an over the counter pain reliever.

 

"Bunnies" are a child's term for young rabbits.

The debate still rages in remote places of the internet rabbit world that the correct name is KIT! It was never kitten as that applies to baby cats. The name for a baby goat is kid. The purist point out that baby goats are never called kiddens, so calling a kit, a kitten is incorrect. Did you know that there are 7 types of cottontail rabbits? I did not! If a jackrabbit undergoes a transsexual surgery, does that make it a jillrabbit? Did you know the jackrabbit was named because its run was seen as a jacking action? Nothing doing with keeping the mommy rabbit in the den raisings kits. Mom rabbit can get out and about and jack her legs hippity-hop all she wants.
