I haven't seen that particular error. Since it's talking about resource limits, I'd guess that we were probably under a DOS attack, which occurs from time to time, since that's the object of such an attack - to force a server to exceed the limits of its resources. If so, it's probably not personal. I doubt that anyone is consciously trying to take the SENIORSonly Club site down. More likely, there was an attack on the hub, or somewhere else along the way. Since we all reach the forum along different Internet pathways, that would account for some people receiving the error, and others not. You can learn more about DOS attacks on the Wikipedia page.
That is what is good about a SENIOR forum, we don't have so much to do and can retry over and over............
Me too. Had to keep myself occupied on YouTube until I could get back on. I think @Ken Anderson explained the reason for this happening on another thread a while back.
I haven't heard back from tech support, but that particular error looks like a DDOS attack, which basically involves a whole bunch of bots using up all the resources until a site goes down. It probably wasn't intended for us, specifically, but we got caught up in it anyhow. Whenever we're having a problem, and I am aware of it, I'll post what I know about it on our Facebook page, for future reference.
