Glad i do not have to worry about snow anymore!!, now that we are living in the South.. its pretty to see the fresh new fallin' snow. but not fun to be out in it. Maybe you should hire this guy , Steve..LOL just feed him a can of beans ! and he;s good to go.!!.
I'm afraid he will run out of............... hot air !!!!! ............................ LOL I rather have confidence in the tractor...... It does the job !!!
She is very pretty, Steve. Is that a freckle on her nose? I had a few freckles when I was a little girl. I don't know what happened to them. I haven't thought about that for a long time. I don't know when they went away. We had frost for the last two mornings. No snow yet. I hope we get one good snow this winter for Bubba's sake. I can live without it but, like all kids, he loves snow.
Did you see the pictures I posted with the snow... also the tractor.. I believe they are on the previous page....
I did, Steve. I hope you have the snow flowers planted. If you don't, you better get them done right now!
NO !!! ..... still a bit too early as I think this snow will melt soon..... I have my new seeds all ready to go when the first snow comes that will stay on the ground.. Without the tractor, cleaning the driveway would be almost impossible as it is way too long and wide... I still haven't put my snow tires on yet...
Funny the spelling for Tyres is just that in Australia looks stage being spelt that way like your tires are tired Tire vs. tyre Tire and tyre both mean a covering for a wheel, usually made of rubber. Tire is the preferred spelling in the U.S. and Canada. Tyre is preferred in most varieties of English outside North America. Of course, all English speakers use tire in the sense to grow weary.
here in America, it is tires that go on a vehicle.. Where I live, we put on winter tires for winter and all seasons tires for summer.... The tractor has the same tires on all year long..
Steve, y'all don't spell it tyre like the Englishters and Aussies do? We really should teach those poor people how to spell and talk.
I sincerely think the time has come for me to seriously consider putting on my snow tires on the car.. snow is in the forecast for the next week or so and the daytime temp will be below zero every day.. night time down to -20c.. what am I waiting for??? Actually at the same time, I'm due for an oil change.. may as well have it done at the same time.. I will also have the car undercoated like I do every fall.. By undercoating it every year, I will NEVER have any rust at all.. We have 15 and 20 year old vehicles around that have been undercoated with NO rust at all.. Those that don't believe in it, are in the junk yard after just a few years.. Most everyone does it up here.. Our winters are severe and the salt and ice-melt they put on the roads eat away the metal on the cars..
I'm still picking tomatoes from my bucket tomato, Steve. I will probably have them until almost Christmas. Somebody gave me a bunch of sweet potatoes so I can eat well for a while. Baked sweet tators, sweet tator pies, sweet tator fries, sweet tator casserole. Yum!
I have an appointment on Wednesday to have my oil changed and my snow tires installed.. My tires are on rims which makes it easy to do.. I put on 4 winter tires and they are studded tires.. They are Firestone Winterforce which is an aggressive tire in the snow.. That is what is needed up here for our winters.. I also drive a KIA Sportage which is All Wheel Drive and I have the option of 4 wheel lock and also traction control.. Not much of a problem in the snow or ice which we get plenty of....... On the other hand, if it is that bad, I stay home !!!!!
