I'm back a bit earlier than expected.... I will let you know what is going on with my wife Annmarie... Not the best news..
Almost everything can be fixed today... she has what I call "indoor ladies plumbing problems".... Yes it is curable but it will mean several trips to the hospital in Sudbury for weekly treatment..
I'm glad it can be fixed, Steve. But sad that it will involve long trips in the middle of winter. Give Annmarie a big hug from me and tell her to get well quick. {{{{{Annmarie}}}}}
Thanks Shirley... She is booked next Thursday at the hospital for some sort of a procedure to cure the problem.. Every Thursday after that for the next several weeks she will have to go for the procedure.. Something about filling up the bladder with some sort of a antibiotic or something.. She was told that there will be absolutely NO pain at all but some discomfort for a while...
Her appointments are made for 1:30pm.. That gives us plenty of time to get up at a reasonable time, have a good brunch, drive to Sudbury which will take us about 75 to 90 minutes from our house.. should the weather be iffy, we will sleep over.. The Comfort Inn charges me $99.00 for the night.. Gas going back and forth is about $40.00.. We get a Northern Travel Grant to travel there which is $45.00.. Sleeping over isn't all that expensive...
Sleeping over now and then is really good for us as we get cabin fever being stuck in a small village for too long.. The fact we don't have to get up very early in the morning to travel is also a good thing.. The opportunity to go out for a decent meal at supper time is also a treat for us.. No cooking or dishes for me..... The advantage of doing some shopping at some big box stores is also a treat for us.. also going to Wallmart.. Whatever the cost, its worth it....
They are talking about a bruiser of a storm tonight and tomorrow.. So far ... NOTHING .... maybe it will bypass us... If we get it, my car is in the carport and we are NOT going out of the house... I have enough food for a week.. And then some....
How's it now, Steve? We were supposed to have some rough weather last night. I got the weather warning call at 12:01 then again at 1:00. I never heard a thing. They say that there were thunderstorms around but they must have missed us. It's still way too warm. This is beginning to worry me. If any Game Players are reading this, you are welcome to chime in. It doesn't have to be anything to do with the games. And it doesn't have to be every day. If you want to post anything at all, feel free.
Somehow the storm is over.. Don't ask, but we got almost nothing at all.. It snowed for a while and we ended up with only 10cms which is 4 inches.. They were calling for ice pellets, freezing rain, and high winds.. We got nothing of that.. We can use more snow.. About 2 feet of the white stuff would be greatly acceptable, but not all at once.. Lots of snow our village will make lots of $$$$.. Lots of very cold weather, our village will make lots of $$$$.. Our lakes are frozen with between 3 to 4 feet of ice as of now.. Our snowmobile trails are open, but we need more snow for them to be in top shape.. I guess it is all up to Mother Nature to give us more snow................ Come-on Mom.. Let us have it !!!
I will be gone for Wednesday and Thursday again this week.. My wife has an early appointment at the hospital in Sudbury on Thursday, so we will be sleeping over on Wednesday in order to get there refreshed.. That is much better than getting up at 5:00am to be there on time.. Besides, it is winter and one never knows about the weather..
I won't be playing games tonight as I must get to bed soon.. tomorrow we get up very early to go to Sudbury.. Up at 7:00am.. leave Massey at 9:00am.. appointment in Sudbury at 11:00am.... Sudbury is just over an hour drive from our house.. All depends on the weather and the traffic.. I will be gone till Thursday night.. Bye for now ............. !!!!!
