Sydney is having the strangest of summers. In fact the entire Aussieland eastern seaboard is. We are having a mixture of seasons. Snow in mid summer.. yes you read correctly, days on end of humid wet conditions followed by cool spells, interspersed with some actual dry summery days. This can be put down to the girl child.. El Nina.. a southern oceanic weather system.
Craig, are y'all getting rain? I know last year the wildfires burned a lot of woodland because of drought conditions.
Plenty as rain is what El Nina creates the most Shirley. This summer is no comparison to last years scorcher. Dry spells across the eastern half of the country have been broken by this weather system. I understand the West, Northern Territory and SA where Kate lives are having their typical hot summer.
So far...………….. no snow to talk about... We are snowless …. Oh well !!! it will eventually come.. however, it has gotten a bit cooler.. It is -15c during the day and -25c at night ….. horary !!!
We are not getting a single drop of rain @Craig Wilson but I know Sydney has been getting some but not as much as parts of Queensland It’s as dry as ..here
Was actually a nice day these past few days, to walk some dogs. but rain and cold temps are headed back soon..
The southern belle is back on the farm. Get healthy y'all or I'll be around there to slap you round the chops
I’m sure you are being very careful Shirley ......thinking of you hope you are in the mend by the time you read this
My daughter had the funniest thing happen to her yesterday , She has a kitten about 4 months old and being responsible she wanted to get her desexed before she had a kitten with kittens as the vet said they can have babies as young as 5 months ...anyway she only has Tuesday’s and Sunday’s off work so she made arrangements to take raven ( who’s black and white ) to the vets on the day they do surgery on a Wednesday on her way to work and pick her up after work ,which she did but raven is not a girl ..” she’s “ a boy ( still ) cause he’s still a little young to desex
Has been a week since my bathroom mirror shattered and yet I have not been visited by the 7 Plagues of Egypt, the house has not fallen off its foundations.. the pool walls have not caved in.. and we are both as healthy as can be expected. We now have a replacement mirror which hopefully will remain in tact for many years as my son has screwed it to the wall rather than used adhesive tape.
