There are so many superstitions that it can drive one totally crazy.. Personally, I don't believe in any of them.. What will be will be..
That's what the word Superstition means , Steve, ,,.... They are not real.. just false sayings.,, !! Knock on wood for goof luck.. . Throw salt over your shoulder for good luck , etc,,,
Shirley and Louise what's it feel like to have a new President. Sydney is in for a five day heatwave. Aussie Day as well.
Craig, I pray every day for President Biden to remain able to fulfill his presidential duties for the next four years. I don't know why I felt so bad a couple of days ago. My only symptoms are a stuffy sinus. I have an appointment to get the COVID-19 vaccine Monday afternoon.
Shirley.. Lucky you to be able to get the vaccine this soon..... GO FOR IT GIRL !!!! Louise.... you mentioned a few superstitions about luck...…. well.... In my opinion …. IF IT WERE NOT FOR BAD LUCK, …. I WOULDN'T HAVE ANY LUCK AT ALL...
Yep SA is in for a scorcher today ....we are home but was planning on going out dancing tonite.....nah we will give it a miss the air con at the hall is good if the daytime temp is under 30 c but above that it’s useless and cause it’s a brick building it gets hot and stays hot
I mentioned Adelaide city centre in bakers dozen cause the city is a square mile which is bounded by West/ North / East / South Terraces. Hope this you tube works ...however where they show the beach that’s not in the city that is Glenelg about 10 km out of the city. The Torrens river is in the city
I have walked thru South Terrace @Kate Ellery when I stopped in Adelaide on way back home after my two years rite of passage to the UK/Europe in early 80s. Glenelg is ok take a squizz at this SAussie beach I spotted online yesterday. You probably recognize it Kate. Is on the Fleurieu Peninsular.
Kate, that was just beautiful !!!! and the mountains in the background reminded me of Maine with the ocean near by too, thanks for that video.!! im going to have Paul look at that video . .later...
Will he be able to fulfill his pledge to vaccinate 100m Americans in his first 100 days. Or is that an empty promise. Seems a massive task to me. I am pleased that you will be among the first recipients Shirley.
I like the Fleurieu Peninsular. as well @Craig Wilson that’s down south heading for Victor Harbour ( little Gold Coast ) the schoolies go there for end of year celebrations and run amok We are on Yorke Peninsula north/ west of the city
