I won't repeat the Christian heritage background I detailed last year for this American holiday, but do encourage others to give thanks, glory, and praise specifically to the one true God who's responsible for our many blessings.
One of my favorite worship songs is "Jehovah Jirah, my Provider". It means God will see and will provide. I like when human qualities are given to God, that can help me relate to Him: His ear is not deaf that He cannot hear, nor His arm short that He cannot save.
