No, @Hal Pollner , you have not been banned. For one thing, if you had been banned, you would not have been even able to write the post asking if you were banned. Ken does not ban anyone , except as a last course of action, after discussing whatever the issue is with them, first. Even when he does have to resort to banning a person to stop an ongoing problem that threatens the forum as a whole, he only bans people for a month, so they can think things over and try again to become a friendly part of the forum. My guess is that you clicked on the members link at the top of the page, and that shows you what is called “Notable Members”, and then it has categories for most posts, most likes, most (trophy) points, and also for staff members. This page only shows a very few of our members here, and for the most part it is members who have been here long enough to accumulate a lot of posts and likes for their posts. Most of the people at the top of the list are people who make a lot of posts because they play games and make posts in the gaming section, even though the post may be only 1-2 words long.
That would be me...at the very top of the posting list..because I play a lot of word games, although I still contribute just as much as anyone else to other parts of the forum, including music..
Thought of it, haven't done it, and I'm just kidding about the first part. You're actually pretty close to making it onto the Notable Members page, by the way.
Click on "Members" near the top of the page, on the left, and it should take you to the Notable Members page, with tabs for Most Messages Most Likes Most Points Staff Members
At the top of the page, you will see a banner that says forums and next to that is “Members”. Click the members link, and it takes you to the list of nottable members. On the right side of the page is a graph of the latest members to join the forum, and if there are any birthdays for that day, they will show up just above the graph of the new people.
I didn't know about it either. I'm glad you asked. I joined a little before you did. I guess we are going to have to step up our game before we would begin to qualify in the midst of those post counts.
