You may have Tastykake in you area. If not, you can order. https://www.pageneralstore.com/prod...term=4576304840951742&utm_content=Ad group #1
We never had those when I was a kid. There was a Hostess bakery outlet nearby where they would sell the barely-outdated stuff that got pulled from the store shelves, and maybe we got the occasional box of Ho Hos. Other than that, the worse we were permitted were some of the garbage cereals. Regarding the fruit pies: Why is there a snowman wearing a cap on the package?
I never liked those things but I've eaten a bunch of them because they were in the vending machines at work, when I worked for the paper companies. They were a colored sugar confection encased in a sugary crust.
Apparently, that is actually a Magician, according to Wikipedia, @John Brunner . https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fruit_Pie_the_Magician
There are times I really, really hate capitalism. "Fruit Pie the Magician and his ilk will make your IQ disappear!"
I was the same way with those early microwave sandwiches: egg sandwich for breakfast, steak & cheese for lunch. Yea, Macke Machines!
