For the 2019 season I would implement 2 new changes. First, I would make a rule stating that hitting more than four foul balls in succession would constitute an out. I'm tired of some batters hitting 5 or 6 foul balls in a row...it shows a lack of concentration, skill, and a waste of time. Second, I would get rid of those "street sweeper" uniforms, with the long pants and dirt-catching cuffs. They remind me of the street sweepers with their push brooms who sweep up the horse dung after a parade. I would revert back to the classic "knicker" uniforms, like the great players of the past wore. Can you imagine a Babe Ruth or a Lou Gehrig or a Mickey Mantle wearing those "street-sweeper" outfits they wear today? Thanks for reading... Hal
@Hal Pollner I suspect the foul ball idea has been considered. However, many pop-fouls are within the playing field, and are often catchable by a player, resulting in an out. Frank
@Hal Pollner That you said this at all, indicates something....... but I'm not sure what......... so I'll just say, that's "big" of you! Frank
