This is what I woke up to yesteray morning around 5am EST (Eastern Stardard Time). It wasn't too bad to stand outside and take shots as time passed the next hour. The fog hovered until around 10:30 am that is the longest I've ever experienced a foggy day and thought is this what London is like?

The central coast gets a lot of fog that can last awhile. Usually Fresno tends to get killer fog in the winter but my subdivision is always sunny for some reason which is good except if you plan on going out and about...you'll hit fog.

Nice pictures Von - thankfully London rarely gets fog now, used to be frequent though

Nice pictures @Von Jones . It has a certain charm to it in a photo...but not when you're in it..

I live on the edge of London @Patsy Faye and we still get a lot of Fog...not the pea-soupers of yesteryear of course, but we still get a lot of fog in winter...just last week, I could hardly see 10 feet in front of my car driving to work in the morning the fog was so thick every day

@Holly Saunders - Yes, I thought it was 'rare' today as I'm not far from London
but it's probably all the congestion, which is how we are getting now too and this year we had some spells of fog
not as bad as when I lived in London - yet ...........................

One of the worst fogs in my area took the lives of seven people and injured countless others. It was on a major highway where car after car drove into a low lying fog area and over 40 cars and huge transport trucks rear ended one another.

I have to add mother nature to what I said about 'you never know what goes on in the mind of pets and grandbabies. Obviously this tree has a mind of it's own compared to the others in the photo.

We get some pile ups like that every year on hwy 99, it's treacherous and even when there's no fog elsewhere, seems it manages to be on 99!

This one happened a few years after I moved here and drunk driving was also a factor...

But it's moving to the right again, as if it simply wanted to avoid the fence.
