This sounds like the mayor of New York banning the center of his city from existence and beginning an attack on the other major cities across the globe. I think this is worse that the "Green New Deal", or at least as bad. link
I've been trying to figure him out for a while now. That, and why New Yorkers vote for him. Then again, if it was up to New Yorkers, we'd all be British.
I listened to a bit of the press conference, and wondered how anyone could stand in the shadow of a forest of skyscrapers and propose banning them. It just doesn't seem like something a sane person would do. Another New Yorker....
Mayors are politically too limited to run for President. Governers are OK, but not much better. Harry
@Don Alaska My Mother had a beloved clock from which sprang a tiny bird on the hour, announcing, "Cuckoo, cuckoo"! Frank
"Among other elements of Hizzoner’s eco-friendly scheme, the mayor plans to make his struggling composting program mandatory — even though he put it on hold last year because residents weren’t participating." Composting in New York City? Where? Picture those huge hot tubs, etc, filled with rotting garbage. LOL
